RPL Licence – Recreational Pilot License
For a basic licence that allows you to fly single-engine aircraft up to 1,500 kg as the pilot-in-command with passengers and unattended within a 25 NM radius of your departure airport, you can complete a 25-hour course structure followed by a theory study exam.
PPL Licence – Private Pilot License
A PPL (A) permits the holder to operate an aircraft as a co-pilot or pilot-in-command. You will obtain your Private Pilot Licence once you have successfully completed the CASA written test and demonstrated your flying proficiency.
CPL Licence – Commercial Pilot License
The 200-hour CPL (A) Training Course, certified by CASA, is a combined theoretical and practical aviation training program. You must pass each of the seven CASA written theory tests, as well as the Commercial Pilot Licence flight test, and have your application approved by the HOO (Head of Operations).
Instructor Rating – Commercial Instructor Rating
Pilots must complete training that is offered by competent and authorized instructors in order to receive a Part 61 flight crew Licence, rating, or endorsement.
Bachelor of Aviation (Flight Operations)
The Bachelor of Aviation (Flight Operations) gives you the academic and aeronautical expertise necessary to become a professional airline pilot to pursue a career managing a multi-crew environment.
