The spin endorsement entitles a pilot to perform upright spins above 3,000 ft AGL. However, there is much more to spins than is described by CASA’s competency and knowledge requirements for the endorsement: accelerated spins and flat spins. Training in advanced spinning is definitely recommended prior to exploring beyond the basic upright spin of the endorsement.
